  1. Ikaruga is an incredibly influential game, one that has greatly inspired many to adopt a colour polarity system. Some are great and some, unfortunately, are not. Iro (Color) Hero on Nintendo Switch and Steam tries to emulate the subtle, elegant simplicity of Ikaruga while throwing more mechanics into the mix. But how does it stack up?
  2. Famicom stuffs?? From Cyanidebreathmintz??? Wat wat waaaaat?!!?!?!???
  3. CAVE stuffs wat wat waaaaat???
  4. Tempest 2000 is a pretty great time, but it's time for a new version of Tempest for a new generation. Rather than having a Tempest clone on the PS4, Atari instead chose to have the devs behind Txk, Llamasoft, work on an official Tempest game instead. The result is Tempest 4000... but how does it stack up?
  5. ***As of this episode, Gunbird 2 is not listed on the eShop, similarly to Gunbird 1. It should return soon, and we'll let you know here when it does!*** We enjoyed Gunbird for Nintendo Switch, so when Zerodiv brought Gunbird 2 to the platform, it was only natural that we had to take a look! Adding new elements to established formula, Gunbird 2 is a game that is better in every way than its direct predecessor... but how does it stack up? ================================================= [Join] the Studio Mudprints Facebook Fan page! https://www.facebook.com/StudioMudprints [Interact] in the NEW facbook group, Single Pixel Hitbox! https://www.facebook.com/groups/SPHit... 8. We're back with even more 360. More Pork. More Sweets. More soul. More Nyaa.
  9. NEW MUSIC! This track was composed for a recent episode of Mudprints Unboxes featuring the LRG version of Dariusburst CS for Vita! It's also a remixed version of my previous work, "Gemini Strike," used in a Mudprints Unboxes for the Dariusbust CS Limited edition twin unbox on PS4 in the last series! We hope you enjoy it!! This piece will also appear in my next album, "Mudprints 9: Flashwave"!
  10. A new PC Engine game in 2018?! You better believe it, and what an excellent production value it has! In this Mudprints Unboxes, we're taking a look at FX-Unit Yuki: The Henshin Engine by Sarumaru!
  11. In episode 59 of Bullet Heaven, we took a look at the XBLA version of Ikaruga on the Xbox 360. We really love Ikaruga, and with the recent Switch version, we thought it'd be neat to compare every home version of "Project RS2" to the most recent iteration of this amazing classic. How does it stack up
  12. Eastasiasoft has been making a great effort to produce a number of awesome physical versions to many independent games worldwide, often with lavish collector's editions. In this episode of Mudprints unboxes, we're taking a look at the Dimension Drive Limited Edition from 2Awesome
  13. Check out the Indiegogo campaign! https://t.co/4J3dh1RBV3 Let's make this a reality!!
  14. 360 degrees of shooting stuffs on the Weekend Megastream... and more.

  16. 1917: The Alien Invasion was a decent fictional account of WWI humanity versus an invading alien scourge. Now it's back with extra ships, levels and features as 1917: The Alien Invasion DX for the Nintendo Switch and PC... with what could be an inappropriate ESRB rating. What are we talking about? Let's take a closer look.
  17. So you want a shmup for four players in the veion of star soldier and other caravan shmups? Quad Fighter K answers the call, complete with a faux kusoge in tow. So how does this indie Japanese caravan shmup stakc up? Let's take a look
