    Uridium on the NES(US) (HD)

Uridium was indeed released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990 but it got shelved. Publisher Mindscape later on got the license to release a game based on the movie 'The Last Starfighter'. But rather than create a new game, Mindscape chose to recycle the unreleaed UIridium-game. The title screen, game-sprites, and the soundtrack were all modified, but the levels and gameplay were identical as well as the mini-games. So basically it is Uridium on the NES with a bogus movie Liscense. Platform(s): Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Virtual Console, MS-DOS, Amiga (Uridium 2), Nintendo (The Last Starfighter) Designer(s): Andrew Braybrook Developer(s): Dominic Robinson (ZX Spectrum), Steve Turner (Music) I found out about this fact by reading the Retrogamer magazine. http://www.Retrogamer.net and Wikipedia

Mark plays... Thunderfox on Atari 8bit (HD)

In this video I am trying to play Thunderfox on the Atari 8-bit home computer range (800XL/130XE) and I talk a bit about the game, life, the universe and everything on the side. Thunderfox appears to be a Uridium clone - or as close to Uridium as you are going to get on the Atari I reckon. It plays a tad different though - so different in fact that I have no idea how to play this. The son of the game creator got in touch with me and pointed me towards this review which explains how to play this gem of a game properly: http://abscape.org/legeek/f_atarian_s2_thunder.htm

    Mark Plays....HyperSentinel (PC)(Steam)

Hyper Sentinel, a retro gaming inspired shoot 'em up for Steam, PS4, Xbox One, Android and iOS. More information here: http://www.hypersentinel.com If you like Uridium or other side scrolling shooters from the good old days like Defender or more modern side scrolling shooters like Resogun on the PS4 - then this might be for you. The game shown in this video is purchased with my own funds. The opinion voiced in this video is my own. I am not sponsored by anyone to make this video. This video is not screened by anyone else but me before uploading this video. Score: 8/10
