Uridium on the NES(US) (HD)

Uridium was indeed released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990 but it got shelved. Publisher Mindscape later on got the license to release a game based on the movie 'The Last Starfighter'. But rather than create a new game, Mindscape chose to recycle the unreleaed UIridium-game. The title screen, game-sprites, and the soundtrack were all modified, but the levels
and gameplay were identical as well as the mini-games. So basically it is Uridium on the NES with a bogus movie Liscense.

Platform(s):
Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Virtual Console, MS-DOS, Amiga (Uridium 2), Nintendo (The Last Starfighter)

Designer(s):
Andrew Braybrook

Developer(s):
Dominic Robinson (ZX Spectrum), Steve Turner (Music)

I found out about this fact by reading the Retrogamer magazine.
